Thriller Conventions*

* A crime usually takes place at the core of the narrative (often murder).

* A complex narrative structure, with false clues and resolutions (red herrings).

* A narrative pattern of establishing enigma's which the viewer expects to be resolved.

* A protagonist who is systematically dis empowered and drawn into a complex web of intrigue by the protagonist.

*Extra ordinary events happening in ordinary situations

*Themes Of Identity

*Themes of Mirroring

*Themes Of Voyeurism

* A protagonist with a flaw which is exploited by the antagonist.

*The title sequence often reflects an aspect of characters physiological state.

*Their is often a scene at the end of the film where the protagonist is in danger.

*Mis-en-scene which echo's or mirrors the protagonists right.
