A Thriller is a suspenseful adventure. Their are different types of Thriller film types. They each intend to promote intense excitement, suspense, a high level of anticipation, ultra heightened expectation, uncertainty, anxiety and nerve wracking tension. Thriller and suspense films are virtually synonymous and interchangeable categorizations, with similar characteristics and features.

*Crime Thrillers* : This particular genre is a hybrid type of both crime films and thrillers. They often offer a suspenseful account of successful or failed crime or crimes. These films often focus on the criminal(s). Crime thrillers usually emphasize action over psychological aspects.
*Disaster thriller*: The main conflict is due to some sort of natural or artificial disaster, such as floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes, or some sort of nuclear disaster.
